So you’ve been following the keto diet to a “T”, but you are craving one of your favorite dishes…chicken tenders. Well have no fear, follow this simple spicy almond flour chicken tender recipe which uses almond flour instead of traditional flour to coat the chicken tender. Honestly, you won’t even notice a difference.
In a bowl mix together the almond flour, salt, pepper, Cajun seasoning, and red pepper flakes and set aside.
Beat one egg in a bowl and set aside.
Place the 4 tbsp. of olive oil in a non-stick frying pan and turn to medium high.
Individually take each chicken tender, place in the egg mixture, then coat all sides in the almond flour mixture and set on a plate.
By this time the olive oil should be heated. Place the chicken tenders on the frying pan, and cook for about 5 minutes on each side. Add more olive oil if needed.
